SOME EXAMPLES OF WEB-BASED ACTIVITIES

Web-based e-mentoring[edit]
Modern e-mentoring projects tend to rely on web-based solutions,[5] particularly if children are involved. Online software allows both mentors and mentees to log into a secure online environment where they can converse under supervision of moderators and coordinators.
Online mentoring websites attempt to offer a knowledge base with access mechanisms so a user can get mentoring advice comparable to the advice they could get from an experienced mentor -- but get the advice directly from their smartphone, tablet or computer, without having to communicate with a human.

for children and schoolteachers. Find penpals
from around the world! Check out interesting
projects you can contribute to, and cool clubs
you can join.
Use KS Messaging Center as your safe tool
for communication. It was designed so that
both teachers and children under 13 years of
age can benefit from the Internet, free from
worry.
EXAMPLE:

A social action project is a multi-step process in which youth address an issue they care about, learn about it and potential solutions to solve it, then take action to create positive change on this issue. Good social action projects: - involve community members and stakeholders in their implementation.

Problem-Based Learning (PBL) is a method of instruction that poses a question followed by student investigation. PBL has several static components: essential question, cooperative group work, culminating project, and student investigation. Teachers are active guides for their students during this process.
